I just have to say that the Lost conclusion didn't have any huge surprises, but it was great television, was it not? but really, NO one out there got the total experience I did with my friend Jody next to me hyperventilating and squealing the whole time.
Some thoughts:
- What is with Libby's hair, and why is it always different? And why would she give her beloved dead husband's boat away to some guy who she just met in a coffee shop? Something fishy, there....She MUST be in on it somehow.
- Also, did anyone else notice that her husband was named "David"? Trivia question: Who remembers who else was named David (Dave) in this show? That's right, Hurley's imaginary (?!?) friend in the insane asylum...the same one Libby was at, too! Coincidence? Not likely!
- Dan pointed out to me that Kelvin was the same U.S. colonel (?) from season one that convinced Sayid to double cross his own countrymen and interogate his friend.
- Poor Hurley! He is going to have to find his way back all by himself after getting there with a bag on his head. This will be his vision quest. Hurley will become a man.
- What was that "knowing" look Kate and Jack shared at the end? I may be reading too much, but they are most definitely up to something!
- I got a BAD feeling about Walt. He is not good. The others wanted to get rid of him a little too much, and what was the "more than they bargained for" with Walt? Bad, bad seed!
- Could John and Eko REALLY be dead? I just can't believe it! I refuse!
Moxie had a great discussion about this the other day. Here's what I put there:
"
In regards to Libby -- my husband has a theory that she was actually some kind of recruiter or scout for the Dharma Project -- we've already seen her interact with Desmond and Hurley in two totally different locations with two totally different looks/personalities. But who knows.
I'm also with Bethany in thinking that Pen's dad has something to do with Hanso. Something's a bit fishy there.
Hoping the cute Scottish Desmond comes back as well."

I think Walt has become one of those creepy little kids you are spooked by on television shows. So sad.

Good point about Libby and David. I didn't catch that one at all, but I certainly wondered if she was part of the whole scheme when she just happened to have a sail boat to give to Desmond. Hurley WILL become a man - good point. As for Jack and Kate, I wondered the same. They must have a backup plan...or Kate was looking at him like, "so now what!? Where's your big saving us plan!?" *shrug* Guess we'll have to wait and see!
