If there is anyone out there who knows anything about these "computer" mcgadget thingies, please help me. Yesterday mine was acting all wonky and I restarted it. When it started back up, my Firefox browser had reset itself. I lost all my bookmarks and plug-ins and such. I am totally stuck in the anger stage, here. Moving on to bargaining, is there anyone out there who has any tips for a computing-challenged person to find these things hidden in some file somewhere?
Keep in mind, people, I just found out it is National De-lurking Week.
If your operating system is Windows I would first try using "System Restore" (information about how to use it is located in the help section under troubleshooting).
This program may have your earlier setting information saved in a restore" snapshot'" the system saves whenever a new program or component is loaded, unless it has been turned off.
Basically it's a calender that will show the most recent restore point you can use. If it's not too old a date go ahead and try it. You can always reverse it if needed. Good Luck.

Joie, If you still need help, let me know. (I did computer support for a number of years) I'm on AOL IM, too... you can get it off my blog, if you need it.
